[Nettime-bold] Uniting to Cease the Price Gouging of Microsoft

     In recent days, horrible tragedy has befallen America, and in these 
times of strife and conflict, American's have joined together to fight what 
we see as the common enemy. We look outside our borders and find hostility, 
but few look within the borders. The Microsoft Corporation has taken a grip 
upon America, in accordance with extreme capitalist beliefs, not alien to 
Microsoft, prices for even poor-quality software has skyrocketed. On October 
25, the new Windows XP hits stores shelves, it has been said that this 
computer giant will spend more than 3 TIMES what it spent to advertise 
Windows 95 so long ago. Pre-release prices are absurd, $100 for the home 
edition and $200 for the professional edition. So I call upon you. I beseech 
that you spread the word to unite people worldwide to fight a global enemy. 
Urge everyone you know, not to purchase Microsoft products, especially 
Windows XP. Endless message board posts and curse words won't make a 
difference, this can. Forward this email, lower prices, and stop the 
monster.
